At alignco, Mariah is a jack of all trades. She has a knack for breaking down complex policy issues and making them understandable and relatable for target audiences. A social justice advocate at heart, she’s passionate about using storytelling and data to drive equitable policy reform. Mariah has extensive experience in strategic communications, coalition building, and policy advocacy with a track record of centering equity in her work. Her policy experience spans various issues including Medicaid Expansion, ensuring the protection of immigrant access to public programs, implementing health equity frameworks, and bringing babies to Capitol Hill to urge policymakers to support paid family leave.

Mariah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master’s in Public Health, with an emphasis in health policy and social determinants of health, from Emory University Rollins School of Public Health.
