A co-founder of alignco, Alison has never been the type to sit still or settle for the status quo. She’s an advocate to the core, and is hardwired to fight for others. Alison was drawn to politics after marching in the HousingNow! March for the Homeless, and has since been a fierce advocate for women and families – leading award-winning campaigns to elect progressive leaders, combat hunger, stop youth violence, protect Medicare and Social Security, end the childhood obesity epidemic, and promote early childhood development. She’s proud to be one of the many changemakers who fought hard to make Obamacare a reality, and continues to work tirelessly to defend and improve it. Her passion for connecting with people and bringing their stories to life animates her work behind the camera, and is a signature of her award-winning ad campaigns.

After many years of working with progressive leaders in and outside of politics, Alison became a certified life coach (although she despises the term). She now enjoys working with new and established leaders – non-profit execs, policymakers, and candidates – who are looking for a way to integrate their hard work with their everyday life and their message with their mission.

Before alignco, formerly Betty&Smith, Alison was a Partner at GMMB where she ran the firm’s U.S. health care practice. She began her career on Capitol Hill with Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) and holds a BA in Political Science from Indiana University, Bloomington.
